Praise God for our healing deliverance, salvation, and love through Jesus Christ our Lord.
 
Beginning May 2005 I became physically ill. I was 58 years old and rarely had a sick day in my life. I very seldom took even an aspirin. I exercised and ate healthy.
 
I finally went to see my family doctor.  He performed a scan and told me he wanted me to go to St. Mary's Hospital, which is an affiliate to Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. He had me call two of my daughters who lived in the same town I did and informed us that what we was dealing with was something he could not handle at a small clinic.
 
Upon arriving at St Mary's Hospital, the medical staff began performing their tests.I was in the hospital eleven days. During that time, my other 3 children came to the hospital, one who lived here locally, one from Oklahoma, and one from Florida. The doctors found out what was wrong.
 
The diagnosis was Stage 4 Aggressive Cervical Cancer. The doctors said there really wasn't anything they could do and wanted to send me home.In the mean time, some friends of mine, Rick and Mary Ann Broitzman,came over and prayed with me at the hospital. Mary Ann then proceeded to call Pastor Rory Synoground, and told him about my condition and asked for prayer. On May 11th 2005 Pastor Rory and the Prayer Ministry Team of the Prayer & Healing Center drove over to Rochester MN, and prayed with meat the hospital.
 
Through prayers, tears, and questions, one doctor finally agreed that she would like to give me a chance. When God moves, He moves. She said she had never seen so much support and faith in such a large group of family and friends.
 
So, the medical staff began running their tests. Everything in my body was fine, except for my kidneys. The football size cancerous tumor was shutting them off. They attached nephrostomy tubes to each one of my kidneys and sent me home.
 
I had appointments set up to receive aggressive radiation, chemo, and brachio therapy. Every day for the next 5 months, I submitted myself to these treatments.
 
My family and I went to the Word of God to find His promises on physical healing. Together we found several. I confessed night and day Psalm 103:3 which says; "He forgives all my sins,and heals all my diseases." Mark 9:23 which says; "All things are possible tohim who believes." Isaiah 53:4, 5 and 1 Peter 2:24 which declares "By Hisstripes I am Healed."
 
Pastor Ray Tuck of International Word Fellowship Church and Mary Ann Broitzman made a tape of healing music and healing Scriptures that I listen too. I read the book "Be Healed in Jesus Name" by Joyce Meyer. Pastor Rory & the Prayer Ministry Teams of the Prayer & Healing Center began visiting me at my home. They gave me literature from the Center on healing, as well as audio sermons on healing from Healing School.
 
My daughter, who was caring for me at the time, gave me an audio CD from Benny Hinn on healing, which I listened to as well. I literally immersed myself in the Word of God and prayer.
 
In December 2005, after months of painful and exhausting therapy, our family doctor gave me a report. It was not a report of healing, but one of death. The therapy I endured all those months, only shrunk the tumor, it did not eliminate the cancer from my body. The cancerous tumor was still there! The medical staff at St. Mary's Hospital, and my family doctor said that there was nothing left for them to do. My doctor told me that I had 5-6 months to live. He put me on hospice, an organization which supplies needs for the dying, and sent me home.
 
After hearing this news, Pastor Rory and the Prayer Ministry Teams of the Prayer and Healing Center stepped up the fight, and began faithfully ministering to me weekly.

They drove over to my home in Clarks Grove MN each week, and would minister the Word of Healing to me and my family. Then they would pray, lay hands on me, and praise God for my healing.
 
Shortly thereafter, in the first part of January 2006, I had a vision of my mother. She had already gone home to be with Jesus. She had her arms stretched out as if to receive me with a smile. I could see others that I knew as well, and I thought I was going home to be with them in heaven. Then a large figure, which I instantly recognized as an angel, came in between us and pointed a finger at me and said. "Sherry,your work is not yet done. There is more for you to do. And you have more grandchildren."
 
The vision suddenly stopped, and I was in my bedroom again. Shortly thereafter I learned that I was going to have 3 more grandchildren that fall.
 
I shared the vision with Pastor Rory and the Prayer Ministry Team and we all praised and thanked God for the work that I would be doing.
 
Then on January 25th 2006, during one of our ministry sessions, Pastor Rory ministered on John 14:13-14 which declares "And whatsoever ye shall ask(or demand) in my name, that will Ido, that the Father may be glorified inthe Son. If ye shall ask (or demand)anything in My name, I will do it."
 
Pastor Rory ministered, that the word "ask," here in John 14:13-14 means to make a demand. Not that we are demanding God to do something, but that we are demanding things in the earth to line up with His will. The Word of God says that whatever we demand in Jesus name, Jesus will personally see to it that it comes to pass. Based on this truth, from the Word of God, we can demand the cancer to leave my body, and Jesus will see to it that it leaves! We then began praying in agreement. As Pastor Rory cursed the cancerous tumor and demanded it to leave my body, the other two prayer ministers who were with him that day, saw in a vision, the tumor shrinking up and dissolving away! We praised God for the vision, and from that point on we praised Him for my healing.
 
For the next 12 months Pastor Rory, the Prayer & Healing Center Prayer Ministers, family and friends, stood with me for my healing. It was not easy fighting this fight of faith. There were many days I had to have help getting in and out of bed. I lost weight and went down to weighing only 84 pounds. The only food I could keep down was cottage cheese, tapioca, and Gatorade. I could barely walk, and would force myself, with my family's assistance to walk around my house.
 
Even though it seemed in the natural, for a while, I was getting worse; I knew and believed whole heartedly I was healed. When friends and family would come and visit, and would want to pray for my healing, I would say "No thank you.You don't have to pray for my healing,just agree with me that I am healed,and pray for the manifestation"
 
Finally in February of 2007 Hospice was questioning why I was still living instead of getting weaker, I was getting stronger. So they asked for another scan.
 
When I went in to my doctor for the results, all he could say was, "Sherry,tell me how you did it." My daughters and I asked him what he was talking about. He said, "I've looked at yourscan, and I even had several other doctorslook at it, and we all see the samething....
