Dear Partner and Friends,

Thank you for joining with us in ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   Your prayers and financial support of this ministry are empowering us to fulfill our mission. You are so important to God, to us, and to the body of Christ.  Praise the Lord for you.

“And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.”  (Acts 2:19-20)

Here we see the Word of God talking about two major demonstrations of power that would mark the end of the age: wonders in heaven and signs in the Earth. God gave us two examples of what the wonders would be in the heavens.  He said the sun would be turned to darkness and the moon into blood.

Now in Earth He said there would be blood, fire, and vapor of smoke. In studying this verse you will find that some commentaries say this refers to war, burning destruction, chaos and murder.

God said, "I will show."  God is not the author of destruction.  In John 10:10 Jesus tells us “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  War, shedding of blood, killing and burning cities is not God's idea of putting on a show. When God puts on a show, it is to reveal to His children His for love for them, and the life He desires them to have.

So what do these signs refer to?

First He said Blood. When God speaks about blood, He's not talking about just any man's blood. He is talking about the blood of Jesus “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (Matt. 26:28).  It was His redeeming blood that was shed in the Earth.  Through His blood, God’s plan of redemption, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, paid for your freedom!  When you are born again, receive your salvation, and your life is changed because of the shed blood of Jesus, that is a sign.

Secondly He said Fire.  The fire He is referring to is the supernatural fire that fell on the Day of Pentecost.   “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”  (Acts 2:3-4)  This fire is the fire of God that comes with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

John the Baptist preached about the fire of God. “John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff He will burn with fire unquenchable."  (Luke 3:16-17)

John the Baptist was seeing into the future when he prophesied this. He was seeing the day when Jesus would baptize believers with the Holy Spirit and fire.

So the blood of Jesus redeems us, but what is the fire for? "... Whose fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable."  (Luke 3:16-17)

Notice He said “Whose fan is in his hand.”   A fan was an instrument like a pitchfork that was used to throw wheat into the air. The wind separated and blew the chaff away so the wheat could fall to the ground pure. They would then burn the chaff and put the wheat into the barn.

The breath of God, His Holy Spirit, separates you from the chaff, and His FIRE burns that chaff so you can be pure and gets you ready for His Glory.

God wants to burn off everything that holds you back from experiencing His love and doing His will.  He wants to burn off the oppression and the weights of unbelief that slow you down from running the race He sets before you.   “... let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us...."  (Heb. 12:1)

So the blood of Jesus brings you into the family of God, and His fire prepares you for His Glory. If you desire His Glory, receive the baptism of His Holy Spirit and fire today.

This brings us to the third sign, which is Smoke. The smoke is the Glory of God, it is His manifested presence.  A vapor of smoke or a cloud, in reference to God's presence, is seen manifested throughout the Old Testament. (Num 9:15, Ex. 40:34, Isa. 6:4).   It is in the Glory of God where we find His power for the miraculous. (Habakkuk 3:4)   This is where God desires you to live, where His love and His miracles are an everyday occurrence in your life.

The signs are here.  The Blood of Jesus, the Fire of the Holy Ghost, and the Glory of the Father!  Will you believe and receive all that He has for you today?

Once again I want to thank you for partnering with us in being a prophetic “Voice of Freedom” to the world.  I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family as well.  I declare you blessed and highly favored of the Lord.
