You Will Recover
Mark 16:17-18
"And these signs shall follow them that believe...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Did you know that according to the Word of God healing always comes! We just read here that when a person who believes and lays hands on the sick, the sick WILL RECOVER! In order for them to recover, healing must come! The Bible didn’t say that “maybe” they will recover, He said that they “would” recover. Now you may be thinking, “Well I had hands laid on me, but I didn’t get healed. My healing didn’t come.” Dear Saint, your healing came, and is still there, you just need to activate it. I had one person say to me; “They have tried and tried to heal me, and it didn’t work.” This is the thought that I want to destroy today. I said immediately to this person; “Yes it did!” They said I still have this issue, and now I am sick because of it.” This person failed to understand one very important principle in receiving anything from the Lord, and that is faith. “For by faith are you saved, through grace, and not of your selves." (Eph 2:8). You see the very second hands were laid on this person the power to heal them, came. They just didn’t receive it. The only way to receive anything from the Lord, is by faith, through grace. This is a common problem in our society. We expect instant results. The Word of God has said, “They will RECOVER.” This implies time. Sometimes God does move suddenly and healing is instantaneous. But most of the time it is a process. The condition that this person has is an issue they have lived with all of their life. When you have been dealing, or living with a problem for some length of time, it has literally become your giant. A giant, like Goliath, is an obstacle that stands in front of you to block you from receiving the promises of God. A giant is a mental stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ, thus making the Word of God unfruitful in your life. What we need to do is to continue in His Word, until Gods promise of healing is bigger on the inside of us, than it is on the outside. When we can only see the healing, then the healing power that was administered to us will be activated.
I used to get really frustrated with people that I'd lay hands on who wouldn't get well. Sometimes I will sense the power of God bouncing right off of their body and back into my hands. What is happening? They are not receiving what the Lord is trying to give them. Sometimes I will sense the power of God going into their body, but it only goes so far, and then stops. This person can say that they actually felt something, but no real manifestation took place. And other times, the power of God goes into their bodies, they immediately see a manifestation of it, they are healed, but a few days later the issue is back. Let these words sink into the spirit of your mind. God said the sick would recover, and God never lies. So if He said they would recover, then that means healing always comes. When you realize that it's not your loving Father who's holding back, it's the receivers who aren't receiving, you will then be on the road to recovery. Now I have no problems laying hands on people and believing for them to be healed. Whether they walk away well or not, I just keep standing in faith for them. I don’t look for the outward manifestation. I look to the Word of God. He said that they would recover. In fact, I know if that person who went away still sick ever lines their faith up with God and me--I don't care if it's ten years from now--they will be healed. If you've laid hands on someone who didn't receive their healing, don't cut off the flow of God's power by withdrawing your faith. Stand fast. Keep believing that "healing always comes" and somewhere down the line that person may just decide to stand up and agree with you! If hands have been laid on you for healing, know that the power to bring your healing has been administered to you. Activate that power, by line up your faith with God and His Word, and you will see the manifestation of your healing. The Bible says that after you have done all that you can do, STAND therefore until it manifests! Bless God, take on the attitude of faith, see your giant die before your very eyes, and receive your healing today!
