I hope this letter finds
you well and filled with the peace and joy that comes from our Lord. Thank you
for your partnership. Together we are changing lives and reaching the world
with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I want to share with you some powerful insights from the message the Lord has given us this year. We have been emphasizing the importance of staying focused on Jesus.
Isaiah 60:1 calls us to "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you."
This verse reminds us that, as Christians, we are meant to live differently in a world that is dark and confusing. God's light is our guide, and it's up to us to embrace it and live free according to His wisdom.
The Bible speaks about darkness not just as the absence of physical light, but as a spiritual and moral blindness in our hearts. Isaiah 60:2 goes on to warn us that "darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the people." This darkness leads to confusion, strife and every evil work, making it hard for people to see the truth and live according to God's will. It alienates us from the very Life of God.
We are called to walk in the light, living in a way that reflects our faith in Christ. This way of living causes us to overcome every challenge and succeed in every area of our life.
Walking in the light means aligning our lives with God's Word and wisdom. Ephesians 4:17 instructs us not to live as unbelievers do, but to make choices that glorify God. This involves speaking, acting, and deciding in ways that align with His Word.
To walk in the light, we must:
Embrace God's Word: The Bible is our guide. Reading and meditating on Scripture regularly helps us understand God's will and live according to His Word.
Seek God's Wisdom: Through prayer, we can ask God to give us wisdom and insight, helping us see beyond the chaotic darkness of this world.
Live Differently: Our actions should reflect our faith. When others see us, they should see a reflection of Christ in everything we do. “And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4)
God also sets boundaries for us, not to restrict us, but to protect us. These boundaries are His Word, His thoughts toward us that keep us safe and lead us to true freedom. Isaiah 53:5 reminds us that crossing these boundaries can bring pain and suffering. But by following God's boundaries, His Word, we avoid the traps of sin and experience the blessings He has planned for us.
Life is full of challenges, much like the wilderness the Israelites had to navigate before reaching the Promised Land. These difficult times are opportunities for growth and learning to trust in God's guidance. To navigate the wilderness of this world, we must:
Listen to God's Voice: Jesus, our Good Shepherd, leads us by His voice. We need to learn to recognize and follow His guidance.
Trust in God's Promises: The Bible is filled with promises that give us hope and direction. By holding onto these promises, we can find the strength and courage to face any challenge.
Stay Focused on the Light: In times of darkness, keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the light that guides us through the wilderness and leads us to the Promised Land.
This message is not just something to hear, but something to live by. I encourage you to:
Seek God's Word Daily: Start each day by reading and meditating on Scripture. Let God's Word be the light that guides your path.
Set Boundaries: Identify areas in your life where you need to establish or reinforce boundaries. Ask God for wisdom and strength to stay within these boundaries.
Trust in God's Promises: Write down a promise from God's Word that speaks to your current situation. Meditate on it and declare it over your life.
As you reflect on these insights, consider these questions: Are you living in a way that reflects your faith in Christ? Are there areas in your life where you have crossed God's boundaries? How can you better listen to and follow God's voice in your daily life?
God calls us to arise and shine in a world filled with darkness. By embracing His light, following His boundaries, and trusting in His promises, we can navigate the challenges of life and experience the freedom and blessings He has for us.
May the light of His Word guide you and empower you to live a life that glorifies Him.
Once again, I want to thank you for your prayers and for the donations you have given to this ministry. I encourage you to stand in faith and believe for a mighty harvest. “Be not deceived God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
In the name of Jesus, I declare the 100-fold return on your giving. (Mark 4:8)
If you have any prayer requests let us know and we will pray for you. I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family.
