NOVEMBER PARTNER LETTER

Pastor Rory Synoground
Dear Partner & Friend,

I trust this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts with you, inspired by the wisdom of our faith in the scriptures.

We find a powerful truth from Jesus himself in John 15:10-14:"10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love.  11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you."

These verses contain a treasure trove of insight into love, obedience, and the fullness of joy that comes from following the path laid out by our Lord.

The core message is clear: when we keep the commandments of Jesus, we dwell in His love. It's a love that's boundless, selfless, and giving—a love of the highest form, known as Agape. The word Agape means: “To give affectionately.

I John 4:8 reveals to us that God Is Love.  He is a Giver.  This is Who He is, and He desires the very best for us.  Love gives affectionately, and God desires us to be able to receive what He is giving.  Through observing and obeying His commandments, we open the door to receive the blessing He has for us.

Right away Jesus gives us a commandment in John 15.  In verse 12 He says, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”

The question I present to you is this; “Should we obey this commandant.?”  The average Christian would say yes.  Praise the Lord.  That means we should be givers.  As Christians we should be known as affectionate givers, representing our Father to the world.

Now, let's explore the commandment of tithing, a topic that sometimes stirs questions and debates. The scripture from Malachi 3:10 illuminates our path: "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Should we obey this commandment?  The answer according to Jesus is “Yes.”  If we love Him we would obey this command as well. This commandment has a promise we all long for - the windows of heaven opening and showering us with blessings. Tithing isn't a matter of negotiation or reasoning with God, it is an essential aspect of our obedience to Him.

In Matthew 23:23 and Hebrews 7:8, we're reminded that tithing is one way we demonstrate our love for God. We mustn't forsake it while focusing on other matters. It's our part in the partnership we have with God in preaching this Gospel to the world. If we love Him we tithe.

I've personally encountered times when tithing seemed challenging due to financial constraints. Yet, my wife and I made a firm choice to obey God, even when the circumstances appeared less than favorable. Our love for Him empowered us to simply obey His command. It was through our steadfast obedience that we witnessed His incredible blessings.

Obedience is a decision, a resolute choice, my friend. Just as my wife and I made a pact early in our marriage that divorce was not an option, so must we decide to obey God, no matter the circumstances. Remember, partial obedience is not obedience at all; it's disobedience. Obedience needs to be our way of life, a consistent and unwavering commitment.

Be strong, and courageous when it comes to tithing. Be honest and obedient to His Word. It might not always be easy but rest assured that God is more than capable of fulfilling all your needs and desires. He loves you and has provided the way for you to receive what He gives.  Obey Him and watch as His blessings flow abundantly into your life.

As we walk together on this incredible journey of faith, let's hold tight to these truths - the commandments of Jesus, the importance of obedience, and the abundant blessings that follow. Let's continue to love one another and extend the love we've received to those around us.

Once more, I praise God for you and for your prayerful and financial support with this ministry.  You are helping us make a difference.  With your prayers, and financial gifts you are helping us fulfill the prophetic vision of being “Your Voice of Freedom”.  If you have any prayer requests, please contact us, and we will pray for you.

I want you to know that I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 over you and your family as well. I encourage you to stand in faith and believe for a mighty harvest. “Be not deceived God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” (Gal 6:7)

In the name of Jesus, I declare the 100-fold return on your giving. (Mark 4:8)
