Merry Christmas! We love and appreciate you. You are so very important to us. Thank you for helping us fulfill the mission of this ministry. Together we are truly reaching the world.
“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.” (Luke 1:28-31)
Notice the angel Gabriel told Mary that she was highly “favored.” The word favored here has been translated from a Greek word meaning “to grace, to make accepted.” The favor of God is His grace that He freely gives us making us acceptable. His grace given to Mary revealed how important she was to Him.
The same is true for you today. Ephesians 2:8 tells us “By grace ye are saved through faith…” Grace saved you. God’s grace reveals how important you are to Him. His grace is His divine favor. You only experience His grace though through faith.
In Luke 1:38 we see where Mary received this favor of the Lord by faith. “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word...”
That is how we receive His favor in our lives as well. His favor, His grace is a gift. You do not earn it. You do not work for it. You simply receive His favor through believing.
It’s His favor that causes His blessing to be at work in your life. Now the blessing of God is literally the “Act” of God loving you. (Gen 1:28)
The favor and the blessing of God caused Mary to conceive God's life within her. This life is the highest quality of life imaginable. God’s life includes no death, disease, or lack of any kind.
The Word of God came alive in her and manifested in the flesh. (John 1:14) The same principle is available to you today.
When you receive God’s grace in your heart through faith, His blessing, goes to work. manifesting His Word in your life.
That is
what Jesus is. He is the Grace of God
He is the Word of God. He is the Blessing of God.
God desires you to receive Jesus, to receive His Grace. God designed you to live by His Grace through faith (Romans 1:17}
When you begin hearing God’s Word spoken to you, your heart begins to heal (Psalm 107:20), and faith begins to form. (Romans 10:17) This is important because 1 John 5:4 tells us that faith (believing what God said in our hearts) is what overcomes this world.
You need His Word, so
faith can be formed in your heart. That is what His Grace provides, His Word.
When you receive His Word, His Blessing goes to work in your life.
This Christmas I encourage you to hear and understand this truth. God, who is Love, favors you because of your eternal worth. You are His child, and He wants you to experience the best He has for you. JESUS!
Receive His favor, His Grace this Christmas; receive the Gift of His Love. Form faith in the Words of your loving Father, and watch His Blessing do great things.
