Dear Partner and Friends,

Praise God. Thank you for joining us in ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   Your prayers and financial support of this ministry are making it possible for us to fulfill God’s mission of healing the brokenhearted.  You are important to this body, and I appreciate you.

"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."   (John 15:7)

“Are My Words abiding in you”?  That was the question the Lord asked me one day.  I have such a desire to know Him that I was crying out to Him “Lord I want to know you more.”  When He asked me that question, He went on to say; “Abide in My Word son, and you will have the intense relationship you are seeking with Me.”

The word “Abide” in John chapter 15 is our focus.  The word “Abide” is translated from the Greek word Meno, which means; to stay in a given place, to continue, to remain, to dwell.

When Jesus told us to obey His commandments and keep His Word, He wasn't just telling us to follow a bunch of religious rules and regulations. He was telling us to allow His Word--which is ALIVE and full of creative power (Hebrews 4:12) --to make its home within us. He was telling us to spend time with it, to meditate on it, to fill our hearts and our mouths with it, and to let His Word guide our every thought and action.

The Apostle Paul put it this way, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..." (Col. 3:16). Most believers don't have any idea what that means. We cry out for more of God, and yet even though He has given us His eternal Word, we try to reach God, or experience God outside of that Word.

That is one of the reasons some Christians do not know the character of our Father and fall short of receiving His power in their lives. When we spend time abiding in His Word, we are spending time in His presence, and in His presence is the hiding place of His power. (Habakkuk 3:4)

Oral Roberts once said that when the Word is really abiding in you, when it's alive and producing like it should, you can hear it.

We all know what it's like when we get a song on our mind and we just keep hearing it over and over.  Well, when we start abiding in the Word, we will hear the Word in much that same way.

Many times, when I wake up in the morning, I have a song on my heart, a praise song to my Lord. And there have been times, when I wake up in the morning, that all I hear is the Word of God.

There have also been times where I've been in desperate situations, wondering what I was going to do when suddenly I'd hear a scripture down on the inside of me.  The still small voice of the Holy Spirit would be speaking the living Word of God to my heart. It is at that moment that I'd have to make a decision. Do I go on thinking and wondering what am I going to do, or do I act on what I have heard?  The Word I heard was the answer to my situation. The Word of God that was dwelling in me, came on the scene, and rescued me.

So, invite the Holy Spirit to go to work on your behalf. Just keep telling Him, "Whatever you bring to my remembrance from the Word is exactly what I'm going to act on. I'm going to be obedient to every command of Jesus that you bring to my mind."

Make a quality decision to abide in His Word. You will soon discover what it means to know the Father more, and you will know what it means to have that experiential living relationship with Him.

Once again, I want to thank you for partnering with us in being a prophetic “Voice of Freedom” to the world.  I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family as well.  I declare you blessed and highly favored of the Lord.
