PARTNER LETTER NOVEMBER 2020

Pastor Rory Synoground

Dear Partner and Friends

Thank you so much for joining with us in ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your prayers and financial support of this ministry are empowering us to fulfill our mission of Healing the Brokenhearted, and be A Voice of Freedom in the world today.

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”(Joshua 1:8)

The Word observe here in Joshua 1:8 has been translated from the Hebrew word Shamar, which means to keep, to guard, to give heed, to protect, to attend to.”

In Proverbs 4 we see something very similar.   “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Notice the phrase “attend to my words.”  The word attend here is translated from the Hebrew word Qashab, which can mean to prick up the ears, to give attention to or regard.

God is compelling us here to focus our attention on His Word.  We are to be so consumed with His Word that His Word becomes deeply embedded within our heart.  He goes on to tell us to guard and protect our heart, for out of it, flows the issues of life.  The result of giving God’s Word our attention is a life of freedom.  Prosperity and success belong to people who observe or attend to His Word and act on it.

There are two definitions to the word prosperous here in Joshua 1:8. The first definition of prosperity is to become mentally intelligent, to gain the wisdom of God in any situation. The second definition of the word prosperity also means to PUSH FORWARD and to BREAK OUT.

When we give Gods Word our attention, and live our lives according to His Word we are then able to push forward, and break out of any thoughts and circumstances in life that are keeping us bound.

In Isaiah 61 the Word declares that Jesus, the Word made flesh, would open the prison to them that are bound. That’s exactly what wrong words and thoughts do. They keep us confined to a cycle of negativism, defeat, and death.

John 10:1-10 tells us plainly that the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy.  The thief here is referring to words, and thoughts that are received from a stranger.  Satan is the stranger in this story, and he has his way of living in this earth.  The problem with his way of thinking is it steals kills and destroys.  It keeps you confined in a prison of thoughts, alienating you from the life of God.  (Eph 4:18)

Jesus declares a powerful truth in that very same verse.  He has come to give us LIFE, and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY. He does this through giving us God’s Word, God’s thoughts.  It is as we hear the voice of our Good Shepherd that we receive the Words of God that connect us to God, His life, and the freedom His life produces.

We must realize that God has provided a way, and Jesus is our Voice, on how to be FREE from the cycle of pain that is in this world.

God is talking.  He has given us His Word to hear and receive.  His Word in our hearts is the way for us to push forward and to break out of these prison doors of wrong thinking that try to hold us bound.

As we read, hear and meditate on the Word of God we are able to observe to DO that WORD! By acting on that Word we begin experiencing true FREEDOM!

God’s will for you is to live free.  Don’t allow yourself to become distracted and consumed with the empty thoughts of this world.  Turn to God and His Word.  Hear His Voice and take on His thoughts.  As you act on what He says from your heart your freedom from the cycle of pain is assured.  Instead of depression, sickness and defeat, you will experience prosperity and success.

Once again I want to thank you for partnering with us in being a prophetic “Voice of Freedom” to the world.  I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family as well.  I declare you blessed and highly favored of the Lord.
