Pastor Rory Synoground
Dear Partner and Friend,
This month, I want to
encourage you with the Word the Lord has been speaking so strongly to our
church family as we continue our series on Increase. The Lord revealed that
2025 is our Year of Increase, and this is not just a theme, it’s a prophetic
direction. God desires to bring increase into every area of your life. He is
the God who causes things to grow, multiply, and flourish. As Paul wrote, “I
planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” (1 Cor. 3:6)
God wants you to grow exponentially, not just a little, but abundantly. He wants your relationships to increase in love and joy. He wants your finances to increase. He wants your relationship with Him to increase as you know Him more intimately. He wants to bring you out of sickness, disease, poverty, and lack, and lead you into health, strength, security, and prosperity. He wants your influence to expand and your impact to grow. Say it with me: “God is my Father of Increase.”
We read in Isaiah 1:19: “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good (the best) of the land.” God has never called His children to live on the leftovers of life. His heart is that you experience the best of what He has provided. But verse 20 gives us a sober reminder: “But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword” (Isaiah 1:20). And as I pointed out, God is not the One doing the devouring. That is the enemy’s work. The Bible tells us plainly that Satan “walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). The key word is may. He cannot devour those who remain willing, obedient, and anchored to the Word of God.
Psalm 8:4-5 declares: “What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You attend to him? For You have made him a little lower than Elohim and have crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.”, Elohim here refers to God Himself, not angels. God made you a little lower than Himself and crowned you with His glory and honor. In Christ, all things have been placed under your feet.
Partner, this is who you are. A son. A daughter. One crowned with glory and honor. The word Mindful means God has you on His mind. Attend means He gives you His full attention. Before a challenge or an attack ever shows up, God had already thought of the way to provide, deliver, heal, restore, and rescue you. He has already been in your tomorrow and made the way.
1 Timothy 4:1 warns us that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits. That is exactly how the enemy works, he tries to pull you away from believing God, from trusting His Word, and following His voice in everyday decisions. But when you choose willingness and obedience, you step into a realm where the enemy cannot touch you. This is the life described in Psalm 91, the life of the one who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. “A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you… No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.” When your heart stays anchored in faith, the enemy may roar, but he cannot harm you.
Our walk with God in this earth is supernatural. We are not called to live a natural, limited, powerless life. The Word declares, “This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4). Faith isn’t a comfort blanket. Faith is a fight that overcomes challenges. Faith changes things. Faith releases God’s supernatural power into your everyday life. The Bible is filled with supernatural encounters, deliverance from demons, healing from disease, miracles of provision, authority over storms and circumstances. These were not just stories for another generation. They are demonstrations of what God desires to do today, in you, and through you.
Jesus is our Sample Son, showing us how to live as sons and daughters of God in this earth. He healed the sick, cast out devils, and walked in absolute authority, not just because He was Jesus, but because He operated as a man anointed by God with dominion. This dominion was not limited to Him. During His ministry, He gave that same authority to His disciples, first the twelve (Matthew 10:1, 7–8), then the seventy (Luke 10:1, 8, 17). He sent them out to operate in this authority, to heal the sick, cast out demons, and preach the Kingdom. And now He has extended that same authority to the entire Body of Christ through the Great Commission found in Mark 16:15–18. That authority belongs to you today.
This is the authority the Lord restored to us in Christ. From the beginning, God placed Adam in a domain, a territory, and told him to subdue and take dominion. That mandate didn’t vanish. Through Jesus, dominion has been restored to every believer.
This is who you are. One restored to authority. One called to take dominion in your home, your body, your finances, your relationships, your territory.
I want to encourage you today: Remain willing. Remain obedient. Remain anchored to His Word. You will see the increase. You will walk in the best of the land. You will witness the supernatural hand of God in ways you have never seen before. This is your year of increase, and together, as partners in the Gospel, we are advancing His Kingdom with power and authority. We are overcoming and changing the world around us. Amen.
Once again, I want to thank you for your prayers and for the donations you have given to this ministry. I encourage you to stand in faith and believe for a mighty harvest. “Be not deceived God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7) In the name of Jesus, I declare the 100-fold return on your giving (Mark 4:8).
If you have any prayer requests let us know and we will pray for you. I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family. God bless you richly in all things.
With love and faith,
