God never designed you
to do life alone. That is something the Lord has been stirring strongly in my
heart as I have been ministering on the Household of Faith. Galatians 6:10
tells us, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all
people, especially to those who are of the household of faith”. That
word household speaks of a family. God has a family of faith, and when you are
born again, He does not intend for you to wander through life by yourself
trying to figure everything out on your own.
Psalm 68:6 says, “God sets the solitary in families”.
There is a spiritual family God desires to set you in where you can be fed,
strengthened, encouraged, and built up. Our culture celebrates independence,
but that is not God’s design. There are things He
wants to get into our lives
that we will never receive while remaining isolated.
When we assemble together as the Household of Faith, we are doing more than attending another church service. We are coming to the family table.
I remember growing up in our home. When Mom prepared dinner, she didn’t ask us every night what we felt like eating. She prepared what we needed, called us to the table, and we ate together as a family. There was safety, provision, and nourishment there. Spiritually, our heavenly Father does the same thing. He knows what you will face tomorrow, and He knows exactly what Word you need to hear today.
Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”. There is something powerful about the spoken Word.
Jesus is the Master Builder. In Matthew 16:18 He said, “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it”. Notice Jesus said, “I will build.” He is the One doing the building! And the primary way Jesus builds His people is through the spoken, anointed Word.
Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” . But when we go back into the Greek text, we discover something powerful. The word translated word is rhema, which speaks of a spoken word. The Greek text points us to the rhema of Christos—the spoken Word of Christ, the Anointed One.
Paul is showing us that God sends anointed men and women to speak an anointed Word, and when that Word is heard, faith is formed in the heart of the hearer.
That is why Paul asks, “How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14–15). There is a divine order here. You cannot call upon One you do not believe in. You cannot believe what you have never heard. And you cannot hear unless someone is sent to speak.
God knows what He is doing when He sends a preacher with a Word for a people. That spoken Word gives you something to believe. When you believe it in your heart, it becomes something you can speak with your mouth. Romans 10:8 says, “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the word of faith that we preach”.
Notice where the Word has to get. It must move from something you merely hear with your ears to something established in your heart and released through your mouth. “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10).
This is why the anointing matters.
Jesus declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel” (Luke 4:18). Jesus was not merely communicating information. He was speaking under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The anointing causes the truth of God’s Word to become alive on the inside of us.
I have sat in services where I had read a Scripture many times, but when an anointed minister began speaking that same passage, suddenly I saw something I had never seen before. The Scripture had not changed. But under the anointing, revelation came. And when revelation comes, faith comes.
That is how Jesus, the Master Builder, builds His people. He sends a Word. That Word is spoken with the anointing. We hear it. Revelation happens in our heart. Faith is formed. We believe it, speak it, act upon it, and begin to experience the salvation, healing, deliverance, restoration, and victory Jesus has already provided.
Partners, this is why what we are doing together is so important. Through Freedom Christian Fellowship, we are building a strong Household of Faith. Through Your Voice of Freedom Radio and media, the spoken Word is going beyond the walls of the church. Through Healing Hearts Prayer & Counseling Center, broken hearts are receiving truth and healing. Through Freedom in Recovery, people are discovering restoration and freedom in Christ. Through Light Christian University, men and women are being equipped to carry this Word to others.
Your partnership helps us keep speaking the Word God has called us to speak. Every prayer, every financial gift, and every time you stand with us, you are helping us send that Word farther and reach another life. So stay connected to your Household of Faith. Keep coming to the table. Keep hearing the Word. Let that Word get into your heart and then put that Word in your mouth.
Jesus is still building His Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!
Thank you for standing with us and helping us speak an anointed Word of faith and freedom to this generation. We love you, appreciate you, and are believing with you for God’s very best in your life and household.
The Prayer Ministers and I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family. In the name of Jesus, I declare the 100-fold return on your giving. (Mark 4:8)
