PARTNER LETTER September 2026

Dear Friend & Partner

Pastor Rory Synoground

God has not called us to live blinded by fear, lies, circumstances, or what the world says about us. God wants us to see by faith. But before we can see by faith, something first has to happen in the heart - the veil has to be removed.

This is one of the powerful truths the Lord has been showing us in our Household of Faith series. Our foundational Scripture has been Joshua 24:15, where Joshua boldly declared, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”. God never designed us to do life alone. Galatians 6:10 calls us the “household of faith” God places us into a spiritual family where we make a supply and receive the spiritual supply we need. Part of that supply is the anointed Word God has sent us to hear.

We see this in Matthew 16. Jesus brought His disciples into Caesarea Philippi, a region filled with pagan worship and spiritual darkness. In the midst of that darkness, Jesus asked, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” Then He made it personal: “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:13–16).

Something had happened in Peter’s heart!

Jesus said, “Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17).

The veil had been removed. Revelation had come.

Peter had been hearing Jesus preach the anointed Word again and again. Jesus declared in Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel”. Jesus was anointed, and He was speaking the anointed Word. All along, that anointing was working in Peter’s heart.

First John 2:20 says, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. Verse 27 tells us that the anointing teaches us. The anointing uncovers truth. It removes what has blinded the heart and kept us from receiving what God has already said.

Second Corinthians 4:4 tells us that the god of this world has “blinded the minds of those who do not believe”.  If the enemy can convince you of a lie, that lie can become a belief system through which you interpret everything else. You can begin seeing your entire life through rejection, fear, shame, failure, sickness, or worthlessness.

But the anointing on the spoken Word removes the veil!

It exposes the lie and uncovers the truth. Once that veil is removed, the Word that came under that anointing can form faith in your heart.

This is why Romans 10 is so important. Paul asks, “How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14–15).

There is a divine progression. God sends someone. That sent one speaks the anointed Word. The anointing on that spoken Word produces revelation. Revelation removes the veil. Then the Word forms faith in the heart.

Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” The Greek word rhema means the spoken Word, and the Greek text says rhema of Christosthe spoken Word of Christ, the Anointed One.

Now look again at Peter. He had been hearing the anointed Word. The anointing had been working in his heart. Then Jesus asked one more anointed question: Who do you say that I am?”

Suddenly, the veil was removed!

Peter saw the truth revealed: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Revelation opened his heart to the truth, and the Word formed faith inside him. Once faith was formed, Peter could see to do and act upon what he believed.

Then Jesus said, “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

What was the rock?

Revelation!

Revelation removed the veil so the Word could form a faith in Peter that became rock solid and immovable. This is how Jesus builds His people.

Partners, this is why what we are doing together matters. Through Freedom Christian Fellowship, Healing Hearts Prayer & Counseling Center, Your Voice of Freedom Radio and media, Freedom in Recovery, and Light Christian University, we are helping people hear the anointed Word so veils can be removed, truth can be revealed, faith can be formed, and lives can be changed.

Your prayers and financial support help us continue speaking that Word and building a strong Household of Faith.

So this month, stay connected to your Household of Faith. Stay under the anointed Word God has sent you to hear. Allow the anointing to remove the lies and uncover the truth of God’s Word in your heart.

The anointing reveals the truth. The Word forms faith in our hearts. Faith, believes, sees and then acts.

That is how Jesus builds a Household of Faith that becomes rock solid and immovable!

Thank you for standing with us as together we continue winning souls, making disciples, healing hearts, and building a strong family of faith.

The Prayer Ministers and I will continue to pray Psalm 91, Ephesians 1:13-23 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for you and your family. In the name of Jesus, I declare the 100-fold return on your giving. (Mark 4:8)

 In His Love and Service,
